“Renewing Your Vowels”
~ Connie Simon
March 22, 2015

Whether you are new to Unitarian Universalism or consider yourself a lifelong UU, there is still room for spiritual growth. Our world is constantly changing around us and it is important that we stop every so often to reexamine and reconnect with our spirituality and our identity as “UUs” — in other words, to “renew our vowels.”

About our Guest Speaker:
Connie Simon, a native of southern Chester County, has been an attorney for 30 years. After years of moving around the country for her career, she left the active practice of law and returned to the Delaware Valley to be close to family. She is rediscovering her own true calling as a writer, speaker and musician. Connie has been a member of First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia since 2009 where she has held a number of leadership positions and is currently serving on the Congregation’s Ministry Leadership Team. Connie says her life is a ministry devoted to the principles of Love, Integrity, Knowledge and Service and describes herself as a “Creative Spirit who just came here to help.” She is also excited to report that she will enter the seminary this fall.
